Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard Hosts Free “Building Sustainable” Seminar May 16

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – May 6, 2009 – Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard, a Bluegreen Community®, and Sustainable Homes, Inc. will host the third in a series of free “Building Green” seminars on Saturday, May 16.  This highly-educational seminar features Sustainable Homes' president Darrel McMaster, who has been a custom home builder for 33 years and is a National Association of Home Builders’ Certified Green Professional™.  Seminar guests will learn about topics including Living with 100% Rain Harvested Water; Creating a Tight Building Envelope; How to Attain a Zero Energy Home; Water, Energy and Material Efficiency; and Using Passive Solar Design.  The workshop includes a tour of a fully sustainable model home built by McMaster that is located in the Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard community.
